What You’ll Do

  • Develop, optimize, and characterize immunoassays (e.g., ELISA, multiplex, and array-based platforms)

  • Design, execute, and document analytical validation studies in accordance with established guidelines (e.g., CLSI), including assessment of precision (repeatability and intermediate precision), accuracy, linearity, analytical sensitivity/specificity, and calibration models/standard curves

  • Perform statistical analysis of assay data, including curve fitting/modeling, performance evaluation, and trend analysis

  • Plan, execute, and document verification and validation activities

  • Troubleshoot assay-related issues and drive continuous performance improvements

  • Prepare technical reports summarizing experimental findings, validation outcomes, and recommendations for further development

  • Present and communicate results clearly, including data interpretation and technical recommendations

  • Proactively identify and implement improvements for new and existing (legacy) assays

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field

  • Strong hands-on experience in immunoassay development and validation

  • Proven experience designing and executing analytical validation studies in accordance with CLSI guidelines, including assessments of precision, linearity, sensitivity, specificity, and robustness

  • Experience with calibration strategies, curve fitting (e.g., 4PL/5PL models), and assay performance characteristics, including dynamic range

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data evaluation using tools such as Excel, GraphPad Prism, R, Python, or similar

  • Structured, detail-oriented, and problem-solving-oriented working style

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to document, interpret, and present complex scientific data clearly and effectively

Compensation

For this position, we offer a market-competitive minimum annual gross salary of EUR 47.220 based on full-time employment, which is above the applicable collective agreement minimum salary. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
