We need you for:
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the Data Analytics team (currently 2 people)
Supporting the development and motivation of your team members
Improvement of the company’s Data Analytics-structures in accordance with best practice
Coordinating and prioritizing projects and tasks in data analysis and data engineering
Hands-on involvement in the analysis, visualization, and modeling of large datasets
Ensuring data quality and further development of the data pipelines and data lakes
Supporting the development and optimization of ML/AI prototypes and data science workflows headed by the Scientific Data Science team
Presenting results to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., publications, conferences, product development)
Documenting and continuously improving processes and tools
Your profile:
Completed studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in data analysis and data engineering with leadership experience
Excellent knowledge of Python, R, or Scala (preferably Python)
Experience with building and maintaining complex dashboards (e.g., Power BI).
Experience with cloud technologies, containerization, and version control
Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, analytical data warehouses)
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow).
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent command of English; German is a plus but not required
Motivation to drive innovative projects and work independently
For the cooperation in our team, we offer a payment in line with collective agreement (KV Handwerk und Gewerbe) based on a full-time position.
